Chinese Consul General in Perth Fu Lihua Attends the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Establishment of Chung Wah Chinese School Rossmoyne

On September 19, 2026, Consul General Fu Lihua attended the 40th anniversary celebration of the establishment of Chung Wah Chinese School Rossmoyne and delievered a speech. Mr.Enzo Sirna AM, President of WA Community Language Association, Mr. Andy Yuan, President of Chung Wah Association, Ms. Xuanli Ma, Principal of Chung Wah Chinese School Rossmoyne and approximately 200 teachers and students attended the event.

Consul General Fu commended the achievements of Chung Wah Chinese School Rossmoyne over the past 40 years, stating that language is both a carrier of civilization and a tool for communication, Chinese language carries the inclusive and diversified cultural heritage of the Chinese nation, has a broad prospect. She hoped the school will continue to guide students in carrying forward China’s fine traditional culture, learning  the latest achievements of Chinese modernization and developments, encouraging the students to understand China comprehensively, and to play a role as young envoys for China-Australia cultural exchanges and people-to-people links.

President Sirna and other people stated that they will continue to support the Chinese education in WA and encouraged the students to keep learning foreign language in order to broaden their horizons .

During the celebration, awards were presented to the winners of the School’s themed competition. Students presented performances showcasing the richness and diversity of Chinese culture.
